The NSERC Engage program helps University and College researchers to establish new industrial relationships by funding short term research and development projects. Researchers in the natural sciences and engineering disciplines have the opportunity to apply their expertise to address a challenge faced by the partnering company, while the company in turn can apply world-class, cutting edge technologies and research to their business needs. The NSERC Engage program provides a vital first step in developing strong, ongoing 聽relationships between researchers and companies and provide a starting point for further collaborative projects.
Please be advised of the following changes to the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council鈥檚 Engage Program:
- Effective January 15, 2016, company partners must have at least two full-time employees and must have been in operation for at least two years, in addition to meeting other requirements outlined in the section of the NSERC website. There is also a new limit on the number of Engage Grants for a company partner per fiscal year, effective April聽1,聽2016.
