Halifax
Traditional residences
Students in traditional residences (Gerard Hall,听Howe Hall,听Mini Res, Risley Hall,听Shirreff Hall 补苍诲听LeMarchant Place) are required to聽have聽a meal plan.
Students select a meal plan option when they accept their room offer. In addition to the Freedom Plan, which offers unlimited meals, two block plans are available for residents of LeMarchant Place.
The meal plan is included in their residence fees so there is no need to purchase one separately.
If your student has any questions about meeting their dietary needs in our dining halls, please encourage them to reach out to our dietitian.
Non-traditional residences
For students living in non-traditional residences (骋濒别苍驳补谤测听础辫补谤迟尘别苍迟蝉 补苍诲听Grad House),聽a meal plan is not required. However, students have the option of聽purchasing an off-campus meal plan.
If you want to make a change to your meal plan, contact the Residence Office.

Truro
Traditional residences
The Agricultural Campus in Truro offers a聽flat fee for continuous-dining, seven days a week. 聽
Students who live in traditional residences are required to聽have聽a聽meal plan. The meal plan is included in your residence fees so there is no need to purchase one separately.
If your student has any questions about meeting their聽dietary needs聽in the dining hall, please encourage them to聽reach out to the Food Services Director.
Graduate and mature housing
Students living in聽Graduate & Mature Housing聽have the option to purchase a聽commuter meal plan. 聽
