Senate

The Senate defines and pursues the academic mission of мÓÆÂÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±Ö±²¥, and establishes and regulates academic policy, standards, and procedures.

The Senate is responsible for:

Senate Constitution

The Senate Constitution sets out the mandate and operating procedures for Senate, including: 

  • Function

  • Principles and values 

  • ²Ñ±ð³¾²ú±ð°ù²õ³ó¾±±è 

  • Senate leadership

  • Meeting procedures 

  • Committees of Senate 

The Constitution is interpreted in accordance with the Statutes of Nova Scotia relating to мÓÆÂÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±Ö±²¥, which specify the jurisdiction and authority of the Senate.
